Where the UK initially showed leniency, from February 25th onwards you will not be able to enter the United Kingdom if you do not have an ETA in place.
The following routes in our network will be affected:
North Sea
• Hoek van Holland – Harwich
• Hoek van Holland – Immingham
• Rotterdam – Harwich
• Rotterdam – Immingham
Irish Sea
• Dublin – Liverpool
• Dublin – Holyhead
• Rosslare – Fishguard
Important Note: It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that they hold a valid ETA prior to travel. In addition, as a carrier, we are legally obliged to deny boarding to any driver who does not hold a valid ETA. Drivers arriving at check-in without an ETA will therefore not be permitted to travel.
Exemptions: Drivers with UK or Irish citizenship do not need an ETA.

The ETA allows multiple journeys to the UK over two years or until the holder’s passport expires, whichever comes first.
The application fee for an ETA is £10.
The UK government typically makes decisions within 3 working days. Some applications may be processed faster, while others might take longer.
Applications can be submitted online through the official government website or via the UK ETA app. For more information and to apply, please use this link to GOV.UK.
