All vehicles intending to transport dangerous goods, abnormal loads or other specialized cargoes (e.g. animals) should provide at least 24 hours notice to Stena Line Freight reservation.
Stena Line reserves to right to decline to carry any such cargo that has not been pre-advised.

• Dangerous goods to be transported on the weekend must be advised by Friday 16:00 h.
• Dangerous Goods are transported according to MoU/IMDG standards.
• All vehicles intending to transport dangerous goods should provide written notice and IMDG/ADR documentation for validation at least 6 hours prior to departure (for evening and night departures not later than 4 hours).
• Stena Line reserve the right to decline such cargo that has not been properly pre-advised with the required legal documentation.
• Failure to meet IMDG/ADR deadlines can result in refusal of shipment.
• The customer has sole responsibility to declare and adhere to national and international rules.

Please note that any such shipment may be subject to delay (or refusal) if all of the requirements relating to the shipment of dangerous goods have not been fully satisfied. Please refer to the Company Conditions of Carriage (available upon request) which establishes this position. Should you have any query with regard to the acceptance of dangerous goods on Stena Line services please contact your local Stena Line Freight Reservation office, who will be pleased to assist you.
