Providing best in class comfort and choice for freight and passengers on the route in 2023, our ship Stena Vision will increase the frequency on the route to six weekly departure days on the shortest, quickest, and most frequent ferry service to and from the European Continent.
The addition of Stena Vision to the Ireland-France route, will provide us with a significant increase in capacity operating alongside our existing vessel, Stena Horizon. Stena Vision is scheduled to begin service on 30 June.
We are doubling our sailing frequency and are significantly increasing the freight capacity. Stena Vision is welcome news for the freight sector, which has seen demand grow for direct services to and from the Continent since Brexit. Stena Vision increases driver accompanied capacity with more cabin space for freight drivers and with the two ships on the route we are pleased to announce that we have 12 sailings weekly on this, the shortest and most frequent direct service between Ireland and France.
Stena Vision has arrived fresh on the Irish Sea from the Baltic Sea, where she has been operating on the busy Swedish/Polish Karlskrona to Gdynia route. She has been replaced on that route by our new larger E-Flexer Stena Ebba.
