Stena Line’s Gdynia-Karlskrona ferry route, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, is currently served by three vessels. Two of them are twin ships with a wide range of attractions for passengers: Stena Vision and Stena Spirit. Another ship on the route, Stena Baltica, also takes passengers and cars, but is mainly intended for the carriage of goods.
From Monday, January 20, 2020, Stena Line freight customers on the Gdynia-Karlskrona route will be able to use Stena Vinga services for two weeks. The vessel, built in 2005, will support Stena Line fleet on this route during planned Stena Vision refurbishment at the shipyard until February 2. A total of 23 Stena Vinga cruises are planned during this time. The ship will only take freight (i.e. trucks, trailers, etc.). Passengers will be able to cross the Baltic Sea using two other ships on this route, namely Stena Spirit and Stena Baltica.
