Please note that all passengers travelling to the UK according to the UK Government’s instructions must complete a mandatory Passenger Locator Form online before arriving the UK. In addition to earlier announcement a 100% check will be conducted of all completed passenger locator forms.
To minimize potential delays for arriving at Killingholme and Harwich all freight drivers need to complete the PLF (Passenger Locator Form) . Please note that the driver must be in possession of a completed passenger locator form, either as a hard copy or on his mobile phone before reporting at the check-in. Upon arrival in the UK this form will be scanned by UKBF.
Fines (up to £ 500) are applicable if the driver is not able to present the proper documents when entering into the UK. As a carrier we will receive a fine for £ 2,000,= for transporting a passenger who does not have a proof of a completed Locator Form at arrival in the UK. As it is the passengers responsibility to have a completed PLF any carrier penalty (£2,000) will be passed on to the driver’s transport company.
Should the driver for some reason not be able to have a completed Passenger Locator Form, we provide as of Tuesday the 6 of April a service at our Check-in booth. This service can be provided until 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
If the driver is arriving 45 minutes after the scheduled departure time at our check-in booth we unfortunately is not able to support with the service, instead we offer to provide the service on board our vessel at the reception desk before the cabin key will be hand over to the driver.
A surcharge of € 35 will be applicable for this service.
