The reason for the decision is the large tonnage change carried out in our network of 21 lines and 38 vessels. We still have very strong demand for freight capacity between Sweden and Poland. But now we are in a position where we build for the future and have a very high activity in the business, not least in the southern Baltic region. Our business is developing and changing all the time, and at the moment we need to focus our investments in this region on our route Gdynia-Karlskrona, where we believe in continued strong growth in the coming years.
Gdynia-Karlskrona has had very strong growth in recent years and is currently operated by four vessels that carry both freight and passengers.
Gdynia-Nynäshamn had its first departure on 16 October 2017. The last trip will be completed in the end of 2018.
