This is specifically for shipments of Union Goods that start their journeys from an export premises before 23.00 GMT 31 December 2020 and are then carried on sailings to or from the United Kingdom after this time. These arrangements do not apply to Non-Union Goods. Movements under CTC Transit arrangements must still complete transit procedures.
You can find clarification of Union Goods movements that are deemed to be ‘in-flight’ on this gov.uk link. Please note the requirement to carry supporting documentation to provide evidence to officials of the Union status and the starting date/time of your journey.
Please note that you will still need to declare the MED in Portbase (use the document type ICT and use the number of the CMR for cargo loaded in 2020) and we will require up front copies of the CMR by email to [email protected] (due to Covid-19 we cannot accept acceptance of physical documents)

Please do not forget to use the prefix STNL00 before the booking number with the MED/NED in Portbase. Failure to do so may cause refusal at check-in.
Please use for your MID/NID the exact consignment number(s) created in the ENS.
Please note that even if you have an e-connect connection you also must declare the content via the Stena Line Freight Portal.

Important note: It is in your and our interest that you ensure that you obtain before arrival vessel the MRN (by means of the advance declaration/Dutch: vooraf aangifte) so that you can use the MRN and the shipment ID (STNL00 xxxx per consignment that you have created via the ENS) to complete the MID, enabling you to leave the terminal upon arrival.
Please ensure that for any veterinary goods you will need to make an appointment at the BIP and get a D-Confirmation. If you don’t have an appointment and/or D-confirmation, you will be refused at the UK Terminal for shipping to NL. (Sailings available as from 3 January 2021 evening sailing)
