From January 2021 we are happy to announce the introduction of a regular intermodal solution between Bettembourg, Luxembourg and Rostock, Germany via our route to Trelleborg, Sweden and v.v.
We have seen a demand among our customers for a regular intermodal service to and from the southern part of Western Europe including France and Spain to and from Scandinavia. It is our ambition to provide an innovative and flexible solution for our customers, understanding that each customer has different demands – we aim to deliver a solution which is in line with in your expectation. Especially customers with industry products such as wood, paper and steel from the north and fresh food, fruit and vegetables and consumer products form the south will benefit from this new solution. The new initiative is just one of many existing intermodal solutions that we offer.
At the same time as it is a cost-effective transport mode with flexibility like a non-cranable solution, it is also in line with our company’s environmental strategy ‘Connecting Europe for a Sustainable Future’.
With this new Intermodal solution between Bettembourg and Rostock the CO2 reduction is 1.75 tons per unit.
With decades of experience, our team has particular knowledge in the movement and management of the total intermodal solution.
