‘Florence Nightingale’

The containers all have a waiting area, a little hall and a test examination area with a lung scanner. Medical staff can immediately establish if the lungs are affected and further action needs to be taken by the hospital staff.

The units are relocatable to be deployed anywhere in the UK and the first unit came into use at the University Hospital of North Tees on 30 May.
