Umeå Port is located at Holmsund, around 20 km from central Umeå. Wasaline operates regular ferry services from Umeå to Vaasa in Finland, providing a convenient connection across the Gulf of Bothnia for passengers travelling by car, bicycle or on foot.
The port is easily accessible by road, with good connections to Umeå and the surrounding region.
The port of Umeå is located in Holmsund, ca 20 kilometers south from Umeå on the E12 highway. Follow signs marked “VASA” from the city centre to get to the port.
Parking
There is a paid, unsupervised parking area next to the terminal. Parking is paid by SMS or using a mobile application (EasyPark, or Parkster). Detailed instructions can be found on the information board next to the parking area.
