Important guidelines
Cut-off times for no show and late handling units – 2 hrs.
General guidelines for shipment of special units (chassis/out of gauge)
• The unit must have enough fuel to be handled at the ship and in the ports
• The breathalyzer must be disconnected before handling in the port
• The battery must to be in good condition
• Drivers instructions (in English) must travel with the unit, otherwise handling cannot be guaranteed
• The unit must have fully functional brakes
• Non-compliance with the above guidelines could lead to additional costs, which will be charged to the customer
General guidelines for shipments of conventional rail:
• Wagon list including wagon numbers to be provided latest 24 hours before shipment
• Information about wagon groups which cannot be separated to be provided latest 24 hours before shipment
• Out of gauge units have to be marked in wagon list as well as shipments of hazardous goods
• Coupling of wagon need to be well maintained and allow safe connection/disconnection
• The units must have fully functional brakes
• Non-compliance with the above guidelines could lead to additional costs which will be charged to the customer or postponement of the shipment
Space Assured Service
To be able to ensure space for most urgent and critical transports, also to meet market demand, we are offering Space Assured Service on the Trelleborg–Rostock route for all customers at an additional fee of EUR 95.00 or SEK 1,036.00 per booking. Please note that even if the Space Assured Service is not used, the fee will not be refunded.
Deadlines for Space Assured Services is during our Customer Service Team Central Europe opening hours Mon – Fri 08:00 – 17:00.
