We accept payments by Visa and MasterCard. Please note that as of 1 September 2023, we do not accept cash payments at freight check-in for shipments.

Important guidelines
SPACE ASSURED service on Gdynia-Karlskrona route
In order to be able to ensure space for the most urgent and critical transports, also to meet a market demand we continue offering Space Assured service on Gdynia-Karlskrona route for all customers at additional fee of EUR 156.00 or SEK 1,716.00 per unit with driver.
Due to very limited availability of Space Assured service it is charged obligatory per order even if the booking will not be used.
Deadline for Space Assured booking for evening departure is 11:00 on the departure day; for morning departure – the day before until 13:00; weekend departures – on Friday by 13:00. This service can be booked only via our CST Gdynia office by email: freightbooking.pl@stenaline.com. Deadline for check-in is still the same and the vehicle must be checked in at least 1 hour before departure and must immediately drive to the entrance gate to ensure the space.
All other units on Waiting List will of course be confirmed according to the current rules.
Bookings procedure and policy
An advance booking with vehicle registration number is recommended to secure space. It is possible to make and manage bookings 24/7 using applications Freight Portal/ Freight Planner (phone application).
Stena Line does not carry forward bookings to the following day unless specifically instructed to do so. In such instances, all requests are dependent on space availability.
For regular weekly flows of business, we would be delighted to arrange allocation of pre-booked space, which would need confirmation no later than 11:00 on the day of intended evening. If travelling in the morning departure at 09:00 we need a confirmation at 13:00 the day before. If travelling on weekends, confirmation is needed no later than 13:00 on Friday.
Special handling and Dangerous goods
All vehicles intending to transport dangerous goods, abnormal loads or other specialized cargoes (i.e. animals) should provide at least 24 hours notice to the CST: freightbooking.pl@stenaline.com. Stena Line reserves the right to decline to carry any such cargo that has not been pre-advised. Livestock transport is not allowed on the Gdynia – Karlskrona route.
Waste Transport
All vehicles intending to transport waste should provide at least 24 hours notice to Customer Service Team:

Waste can only be transported on the open deck of the Stena Ebba and Stena Estelle.
Stena Line reserves the right to decline to carry any such cargo that has not been pre-advised.
Lift On/Lift Off Traffic
Stena Line operates a “Roll on / Roll off” service for unaccompanied trailers and accompanied traffic. In Gdynia “Lo / Lo” facilities for unaccompanied containers needs assistance from the OT Port Gdynia and have to be pre-booked, this can be done by Stena Line.
Cut-off times for no show and late handling units – 6 hours. No metal tracks allowed.
Please be informed that used unaccompanied and new trade vehicles which is to be loaded on board the vessel by port service must be prepared according to the following:

Parking
Parking facilities
Unaccompanied units can normally be left on the quayside for up to 24 hours. After that charges will apply.
Only accompanied vehicles intended for shipment may park short term (max 2 hours) prior to check-in, no other vehicles. Vehicles not intended for shipment are not permitted in the port.
Demurrage/Standage charges
Charges for trailers or other equipment that remains on the quayside for a prolonged period of time will be charged parking/standage charges.
